Our
mission is to help individuals with intractable pain get the pain
medication that they need in order to enjoy an optimum life style. In
accordance with the FLORIDA GUIDELINES FOR MANAGEMENT OF PAIN, we support the relief of chronic pain or stress through an opiate therapy program.
Many
doctors under prescribe or refuse to prescribe medication to legitimate
patients. We have great sympathy for legitimate pain and stress
patients. We are aware of their difficulty in obtaining the medication
necessary to help.
Pain Relief
Substantial benefits possible.
There
are substantial benefits from opioid maintenance therapy for chronic
pain relief. The vast majority of patients not only obtain significant
pain relief, but also become more active physically and socially.
Please
understand this treatment also entails some serious risks. There are a
variety of dangerous side effects associated with medications
(hydrocodone, valium, etc.) utilized in opiate therapy such as
sedation, respiratory depression, and death from overdose. In addition,
these side effects threaten others who may be injured if a patient is
impaired by the medication or behaves irresponsibly.
